Having a mechanic you can trust is just great. Don is that guy. I brought my jeep in for a power steering issue that he resolved quickly. I feel confident that Don offers good value while the dealer (and others) would have charged a lot more.

I had my car in for rear brakes. They gave me an estimate and also accepted the $20.00 off coupon I had. They were very pleasant and the car was ready within two hours. This is a great place that you can trust.

Referred by a friend and glad I went there. My car is running much better and I thought pricing was very reasonable. Will definately be taking my car here from now on for all maintenance services.

Don and his team did a great job on fixing the brakes (replacing the pads and rotors). Price they offered was fair and the service provided was good. The time was the only issue as it was to be done by 12:30 but it was completed at 2:00. Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided and will recommend Don to others. About 2 years ago my son's 1997 Accord needed a new clutch installed and some minor but necessary maintenance work done. I contacted various auto repair shops. After speaking directly with the owner Don made a decision to give Tri-Valley Automotive. And I'm happy that I did! Since that time I have had Tri-Valley Automotive work on my wife's Volvo, my daughter's Camaro, and my pick-up truck. Regarding the Volvo, the car needed a set of brakes, new shocks and some other more minor work. Based on the great experience I had with the Accord and a very fair repair estimate, I decided to useTri-Valley. The result was good work delivered on-time. Regarding the Camaro, a local dealership diagnosed an overheating problem as a blown head gasket problem and they wanted just under $2,000 to solve. I got a second opinion from Tri-Valley which diagnosed the problem as something entirely different. Bottom line is that Tri-Valley solved the problem for under about $500. My daughter has since driven the car to Texas where it runs flawless. When my fuel pump went out on my truck I knew exactly where I was going to take it. Here too, Tri-Valley's estimate was better than others I had called (about $300 better) and the work was done competently and on-time. I now take my cars to Tri-Valley for routine maintenance. I love this place! I love this place!

My wife's car needed trasmission drainage and refill service yesterday. I forgot to ask the charge. Anyhow he finished the job within 2 hours. The bill I paid was almost the same price as sales price at other service station. Alos I noticed that he never recommended unnecessary repairs and overcharged. He may undercharge as well as very honest with good advice. Always feel good with his service. Inho

I was referred to Tri-Valley Automotive over a year ago and have taken our vehicles to them ever since. Don, the owner, runs an honest, car repair business. He has never tried to upsell me (which so many shops do) to do more than what I came there to do. He has even told me when it's not necessary for me to spend the money. That keeps us going back. It doesn't hurt that he's very reasonably priced compared to others. If you're wanting a good honest mechanic, then give Tri-Valley a try.

I took my daughters 2001 Honda Civic to Tri-Valley automotive for an oil change and to have them check it over; brakes, belts, etc. before she drove it to LA for a long weekend. They did the oil change, checked the car out and said that all was fine for the journey. No, pressure of trying to sell me anything I did not need; unlike taking it to the Honda dealership.
